版画家/Printmaker. 「2018 年より、『充実した孤独感』という言葉をテーマとした版画作品の制作を続けている。
これは独りきりでいるにも関わらず心身ともに満たされている状態を意味しており、作品の制作/鑑賞といった、美術に関わりを持つことが「自分を孤独にする行為」だとする私の主観に基づいている。

孤独という言葉は、通常自分が 1 人である寂しさを感じるネガティブなものとして捉えられる。しかし、実際はその時の自分の状態によって孤独にも様々な違いが生じる。例えば、 自分以外の人間がいる、または会話ができる環境だとしても、すれ違いによる虚しさや寂しさから心を病んでしまう人がいる一方で、自分しかいないただ 1人の環境でも独自の世界を持ちそこに満足感を得ながら過ごすことができる人もいるからだ。
何者にも惑わされず自 分自身の思考や存在だけに集中できる孤独な時間こそ、日々の生活を最も満ち足りたものにしてくれるのではないだろうか。
この考えのもとに制作された一連の作品では、日常風景の中を黙々と旅する犬の群れが描かれている。ぼやけた背景は、考え事を始めて視覚が曖昧になり周囲の音が徐々に聞こえなくなっていく様子を、その中を群れをなして動き回る非日常的な黒い犬のシルエットは、そこに自分だけの時間が流れ出していることを表している。
人が自分の世界に入り込む導入部分を描いたこの作品が、私自身を含めた、無自覚のうちに言葉の影響を受けやすく、日常生活で孤独を憂鬱に感じている人のために存在してほしい。」

" The theme is “Fulfilling Loneliness”.
I have been creating artworks (mezzotint) about this theme since 2018.
“Fulfilling Loneliness” means you are fulfilled physically and mentally, even though you are lonely.
This is based on my thinking that art gets you out of this real world.
The majority of people feel that “Loneliness” is negative. But it dependa on the situation: I thought there are a lot of kinds of “Loneliness”.
The time nobody disturbs your world makes you feel emotionally satisfied.
My artworks consist of 2 things. The unclear landscape means the beginning of your thinking and the group of dogs represents your personal time. In other words, my artworks express an overture to your world.
I want my artworks to exist for the people who feel melancholy about “Loneliness” and worry about how other people think of them."
